What Is Turing Discord Bot
Turing Discord Bot is a Discord bot which is written in Javascript with discord.js. It has 50+ commands in categories info, moderation, fun, sound, leveling, owner, tool. With database support it can level members, give automated roles and add have guild specific features.
Codes of Turing and its website is open source and can be found at Github repository.
Technologies
Turing Bot itself is written in Javascript with discord.js. All dependencies can be found at repository.
Website is written in Vue.js with Tailwind Css.
Backend services is written in Node.js with Express.js. MongoDB is used as database.
Backend services and Turing itself is hosted at Amazon EC2 free tier servers. Website is hosted in Netlify. MongoDb Atlas free tier is chosen as database hosting.
Privacy
Turing stores some information about guilds and members for its functionality. All data stored in database is either public visible data in Discord such as user id or guild name or generated by Turing such as points. Other than any private data is not stored.
For guild this data is stored: guild id, guild name, owner id, guild creation date, Turing join date to guild, region. Also rules and connections stored. This are optional and adds more functionality to your server. As rule guild owner can add command rules such as do not detect sound commands in a text channel. And as connection guild owner add connections for helping users. This connections have a name and url and showed in +guild command.
For user this data is stored:guild id, user id user name, join date, points, level, warnings, connections. Warnings optional to the guild. If guild owner do not enable them no warning is stored. Connections are similar to guild connections, they are optional and can be added or removed with +conadd and +conrem commands. They are visible at +me command.
All guild data is deleted without any remaining when turing is left from guild. Any user data is deleted without any remaining when user left guild.
